What To Consider Before Fostering Kittens

Fostering kittens may be a fantastic experience, but it isn't without its difficulties. Neonatal or newborn kittens are extremely vulnerable if they've lost their mother. They are unable to regulate their body heat, cannot see or hear, and can't even go to the bathroom by themselves. Fostering these delicate babies will definitely mean late-night feeding sessions but could also include applying special medicines or going for emergency vet visits.

Fosterer Jessica, of Jessie's Foster Kittens, has fostered 102 kittens, and runs an Instagram packed with great tips and cute pics. We asked her about some of the things a potential fosterer should know before they fall in love with a litter of orphans.
