User Acquisition Manager

We’re looking to hire a talented user acquisition manager to join our marketing team. The role can be based in our San Francisco, or Kyiv office. The right candidate will be responsible for leading large-scale ad campaigns, and must be analytical and business-savvy. Should have media buying experience with Facebook, Twitter, Amazon, Adwords, and other search engine advertising. This person must be able to independently manage multiple advertising campaigns and manage creative development and program execution.

The user acquisition manager should be able to conceptualize, deploy, develop, monitor, analyze and optimize ad campaigns real-time/daily. The qualities we are looking for - someone who is proactive, growth-minded, unafraid to try new channels, and actively shares data, results, and ideas. For serious consideration for the role, must have references.

Responsibilities

  • UUse daily/monthly budget to acquire new users/convert to purchases on Facebook and other ad channels (search, social, display / mobile ad networks).
  • Drive sales, and continually optimize performance to drive down cost per sale.
  • Develop test plans, measure performance, and make recommendations.
  • Monitor, optimize and report performance of campaigns on an ongoing basis.
  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to ensure optimized UA campaign performance and have continual pipeline of ad experiments.
  • Identify new partner, platform, and optimization opportunities to increase campaign performance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in media user acquisition with a strong track record of results.
  • SQL and/or Programming Experience a plus.
  • BS/BA degree in math, science, or engineering preferred
  • Media buying expertise in social ad channels, display, mobile and SEM. Facebook advertising experience a must.
  • Familiarity with CPS, CPC, CPM, ARPU, LTV and other key KPIs.
  • Experience in attribution modeling and understanding of multiple conversion paths.
  • User acquisition experience in eCommerce preferred.
  • Passion for problem solving. Ability to tackle challenging problems, and find creative solutions.
  • Experience with campaign performance optimization, funnel optimization, creative testing, and ROI analysis
  • Outstanding written and oral communication.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments, preferably in an internet, financial, or consulting industries
  • Proven ability to effectively influence others without directly managing them.
