Petcube's warranty obligations are defined below: Warranty Periods: United States and Canada: Petcube warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for ONE (1) YEAR from the date of retail purchase by the original end-user. European Union (EU): Petcube warrants its products for TWO (2) YEARS from the date of purchase by the original end-user, as per EU consumer protection laws. United Kingdom (UK): Petcube warrants its products for TWO (2) YEARS from the date of purchase by the original end-user, in compliance with UK consumer protection laws. Coverage Options: If a hardware defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, Petcube will, at its discretion and to the extent permitted by law: Repair the hardware defect at no charge using new or refurbished replacement parts; or Exchange the product with a new or refurbished product of equal or greater value; or Refund the purchase price (where applicable). Replacement Product Warranty: A replacement product or part assumes the remaining warranty of the original product or 30 days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides longer coverage.
This Limited Warranty applies only to Petcube-branded hardware products. It does not cover: (a) Damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake, or external causes; (b) Damage caused by improper use or operation outside of Petcube’s intended guidelines; (c) Consumable parts (e.g., filters, batteries) unless proven defective; (d) Cosmetic damage (e.g., scratches, dents, or broken ports); (e) Products purchased from non-authorized resellers or counterfeit products.
Products purchased from unauthorized resellers are not covered by this warranty. Petcube does not provide any warranty for software or third-party products sold with or alongside its hardware. Warranty service requires proof of purchase and registration through Petcube’s official channels. Complete list of authorized resellers per country is provided below:
Obtaining Warranty Service
Obtaining Warranty Service To file a warranty claim: Contact Petcube Support at support@petcube.com with proof of purchase, product details, and issue description. Ship the product (freight prepaid) in its original packaging or equivalent protective packaging to the address provided by Petcube. Important: Backup any data stored on the product, as it may be lost during service. Petcube is not responsible for data loss during repairs or replacements.
This Limited Warranty is governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, following these guidelines: (a) Arbitration will be conducted via telephone, online, or written submissions. (b) No personal appearances are required unless mutually agreed upon. (c) Arbitration awards may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. If arbitration is unavailable, disputes will be resolved in state courts in San Francisco, California.
