I experience echo on my Petcube / Fixing audio issues

If you experience audio issues on your camera, make sure you are not using audio while being in the same location with your Petcube as it may create audio feedback or echo.

When it comes to audio interaction on any Petcube camera, Petcube offers either the two-way audio or the 'push-to-talk' feature that works much like a walkie-talkie.

Push-to-talk should be a default option in the Petcube app camera settings on every device as with audio working only one way, a lot less extraneous sounds and noises are being picked up by the microphone on the camera which may cause echo and other issues. However, if you your Petcube is set to transfer 2-way audio and you'd like to switch to push-to-talk, open the Petcube App, tap on your profile picture at the very top if you use iOS or on the left hand side menu if you use Android, tap the profile ‘Settings’ wheel in the upper right corner, select ‘Reduce echo in camera calls’ under General and make sure it’s turned on.
