Tracker Updates Frequency

To receive app commands and push location updates, Tracker visits Petcube servers every so often. This time varies depending on the frequency of the updates you have set up in the app, and depending on the Tracker's operating mode. 

To set up how often tracker sends location updates and receives data from the app in Regular operating mode, please go to Tracker Settings -> Updates Frequency:

In Regular tracking mode you can expect Tracker to push and receive updates every 2-20 minutes depending on how active your pet is.

You can choose between:

• Rare - tracker will visit server automatically to push location updates and receive app commands every 2-10 minutes, when not in Power Saving Zone
• Normal - tracker will visit server automatically to push location updates and receive app commands every 2-7 minutes, when not in Power Saving Zone
• Frequent - tracker will visit server automatically to push location updates and receive app commands every 2-5 minutes, when not in Power Saving Zone

When in Power Saving Zone, Tracker will send location updates and receive app commands every 20 minutes. 

Once Lost Pet mode is activated in the app, you can expect to receive real-time location updates every 5-15 seconds.

Keep in mind that more frequent automatic location updates will drain more energy reducing overall battery life before each charge.
