PR Media Manager

We are looking for a meticulously organized and driven PR Manager to expand Petcube outreach to media outlets and secure frequent high-quality coverage.

Petcube is a dynamic brand at the forefront of revolutionizing the pet care industry with an extended list of stories to tell focusing on tech, pet parenting, and animals. The brand marketing team is on a mission to broaden our reach and help more pet parents improve their lives with technology.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the media outreach strategy throughout the year based on the company’s product release and promotional calendars.
• Build an effective pipeline for media communication with proper documentation, status monitoring, and automatization. 
• Develop warm long-lasting connections with editors and journalists, and sustain their engagement.
• Write top-notch press releases and create thoughtful individual pitches to optimize for conversion. 
• Run a transparent reporting process on key metrics including produced publications, generated reach, traffic, and conversion, and effectively allocate budgets to operate with the best CPM.
• Cooperate with marketing, product, and engineering teams to solicit the best data for outer comms.

Requirements

• Substantial managerial experience, and a proven track record with implementing PR media strategies.
• Technical proficiency with core outreach tools, CRMs, and analytics.
• Fluent conversational English paired with strong creative writing skills.
• Ownership, responsibility, resourcefulness, creative hustle mindset.
• Strong drive and attitude to get things done.
