Lead Data Analyst

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of experience in Product and/or Data Analytics.
• Proven track record of delivering actionable insights and strategic recommendations that drive product growth.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL (both DDL & DML).
• Strong foundation in statistics, probability theory, and A/B testing methodologies.
• At least 1 year of experience in a management or leadership role.
  
• 1+ years of experience working with the Google Data Stack (BigQuery, Looker / Looker Studio).
• Basic knowledge of Python is a must-have.
• Familiarity with Data Engineering concepts (ETL/ELT) and Airflow is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the analytics & data department, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Conduct thorough product research and deliver quantifiable, actionable recommendations to enhance product performance, user experience, and pet engagement.
• Support and continuously improve our current business intelligence systems to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and usability.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing) to define key metrics, build dashboards, and ensure data-driven decision-making.
• Design and execute A/B tests, interpret results, and provide recommendations to optimize product features and strategies.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices and industry standards.
• Use data to uncover trends and insights that help us better understand pet behavior and improve our products.
