Motion Zones: Better Privacy & Alerts

We are excited to announce the launch of our latest feature: Motion Zones. Starting today, Petcube Care subscribers can enjoy enhanced privacy and more precise notifications by defining specific areas for motion detection.

What’s New?

With Motion Zones, users can customize their camera’s focus, allowing it to monitor only designated areas within its view. This means you will receive alerts only for the zones that matter most to you, significantly reducing unnecessary notifications.

Feature Availability

This update is available for the latest revisions of the Cam, Play 2, and Cam 360. Support for older models, including Cams and Bites 2 Lite, will be rolled out in the nearest future.

Additional Benefits

Alongside Motion Zones, all Petcube Care subscribers now have access to the Knowledge Base content. Simply navigate to the Services tab in your Petcube app to explore this new feature.

How to Use Motion Zones?

  • Highlight Areas: Select specific regions within the camera’s view where you want to receive alerts.
  • Draw Motion Zones: Define the exact areas to monitor, ensuring you get notifications for only the activities you care about.
