Does Emergency Fund cover a vet clinic’s upfront deposit?

Many veterinary services and clinics request a deposit from pet owners at the time of admission. We understand that the deposit required and amount is determined by a variety of factors, including the estimated cost of treatment and the relationship with a given client. Vet clinic may request a deposit at the beginning of treatment, which Emergency Fund by Petcube does not place or manage. The pet owner would be responsible for any required deposits.

We'll give coverage, up to $3,000, to cover the cost of therapy when the treatment is finished and the final invoice is ready (including the deposit). The initial deposit will be compensated at that time. At the moment, Emergency Fund by Petcube does not offer any exceptions to the first deposit; it will always be the pet owner's duty at first.
