Petcube Camera was demoed live at TechCrunch Disrupt

The last three days were all about technologies, startups and meeting great people, but for us the most exciting part of TechCrunch Disrupt was live demoing Petcube in front of thousands conference visitors for the very first time.

Some of the guests were quite surprised by our suggestion to stop by and play with our cats. We didn’t actually bring our furry QA team with us, though we’re sure they would love to explore all the gadgets there. However, we could play with the nice company of pets who stayed away from the crowded conference rooms using the latest Petcube prototype.

Just check out what people who tried it out were saying about their experience.

For all of Petcube fans who didn’t make it to TC Disrupt this year we filmed a short iPhone video showcasing the latest Petcube Camera prototype in action. It also shows the updated Petcube gameplay without the control wheel in the left bottom corner of the screen. Now the laser dot is fully controlled with a swiping motion of your finger which lets you see more of the room on the screen and brings the attention entirely to the game.

While playing features demoed at the TechCrunch Disrupt are still to be released to a wider audience, Petcube’s pet lovers community keeps growing. The latest Petcube iOS app version got updated with new sharing options, smarter notifications and image cropping, so sharing the cuteness gets even easier and more fun, check it out!
