I didn’t know what to expect when I got this as far as quality of video or laser toy or connectivity away from the house. All I can say it has far surpassed my expectations in every way. Let me give you an example. I was on my way down to the ground on a plane. I thought, let me check on my cat. Using the Wi-Fi on the plane, I was able to access the video feed in my home living room and see my cat was there bored and needing to play. I enabled the laser toy and proceeded to play with her for five minutes while we finished landing. She had a great time and I was reassured she was ok. The quality of the video was great, almost no lag, and the laser toy worked like a charm! There is a little lag for the laser toy but it still is great. A+ for this. I would gladly recommend to anyone. Setup wasn’t that hard either. The only hiccup was that I chose a camera option for someone in my building that they were already using. Once I selected the correct Petcube model, it connected fast and easy!!
So Much Fun For My Cats
Absolutely love this product. Being able to play with my cats when I am not at home is so much fun. They absolutely love it too. I did have some trouble figuring out how to allow my husband access from his phone also however customer service was quick to respond and walked me through the process step by step! It is very rare to have great customer service with a product. Highly recommend!!
Best Product
If you have pets that stay home alone, this is a great option to check on them and keep them entertained. The voltage input option made it also a decent fit for me to use in the middle east.

We have loved and enjoyed the petcube camera with a laser pointer!! Not only do we get to check in on our cats and puppy (he thinks he’s a cat too). but we get to interact with them. I love that we can talk to them and play with the laser pointer. My husband and I love this camera and we recommend it for anyone with furbabies!!!

What are some of the features of Petcube Play 2?
Petcube Play 2 features are a 3R class laser built-in laser toy, 160º wide-angle view, 1080p HD video, 2-way audio, night vision, and 8x digital zoom.
Is the laser pointer safe for pets and humans?
Yes, the built-in 5mW 3R safe laser is certified and safe for humans and pets. You're in control of the laser pointer. When playing with your pet, wherever you place your finger on the app screen is where the laser pointer will land. It's only activated when you play with your pet and choose the laser pointer option or if you schedule play. We recommend you avoid pointing the laser directly into your pet's eyes.
What are the benefits of the interactive laser pointer?
The laser pointer provides a level of interactivity that engages your pets so they don't get bored when they're alone. It's great for providing stimulus for your pets and engages them in playtime and exercise. You can talk to and praise your pets while playing with them remotely.
Should I be concerned about the frequency of laser play?
Each animal has a unique personality, disposition, and temperament and will respond differently to stimuli such as laser pointers. The laser pointer is designed to be a fun interactive toy, which you can use in conjunction with talking to your pets while engaging them in laser play. You can talk to and praise your pets while playing with them remotely. You understand your pet's temperament best. As with any stimulus or activity, we recommend moderation and observing your pet's individual response.
How many Petcube cameras do I need?
It's entirely up to you and a matter of personal preference. Depending on the size of your home or living area, you can have multiple cameras in your home. You can access multiple cameras from your account.
Can I use Petcube Play 2 in place of my existing home Wi-Fi camera?
Petcube Play 2 has many of the same features as a home Wi-Fi camera. Our cameras are designed specifically for the pet owners in mind. It's entirely up to you, as you can use Petcube devices as standalone home cameras or as a complement to what you already have.
Can I share live streaming with family and friends?
Through the Petcube app, you can share your camera with family and friends. You are always in complete control of your camera access and the level of permissions you choose to grant to those close to you. In the app, visit the Share Camera Settings and select a suitable sharing option. Those granted access to your camera will need to download the Petcube app to interact with the camera and your pets.
How can I access and control my camera?
You do everything with Petcube App, compatible with iOS and Android devices. With Petcube Care, you can also playback and download videos in the browser from a desktop or laptop.
Can I view streaming video through the app?
Yes, Petcube cameras are designed for real-time interaction with your pets. The video is live streaming through the app on your smartphone.
Can I take screenshots and record videos with the Petcube app?
Sure. You need to tap the Photo Camera icon on the bottom left while in play mode to take a screenshot. For video recording, tap the Video Camera icon at the bottom right in play mode.
Does Petcube Play 2 rotate, pan, or tilt?
Petcube Play 2 has a 160º wide-angle camera lens, covering a large area. It is designed as a stationary unit and does not mechanically rotate, pan, or tilt.
Does Petcube Play 2 require a monthly subscription?
No, all of our cameras, including Petcube Play 2, can be used out of the box and do not require a subscription. However, without Petcube Care, you will not be able to store video and get smart alerts.
Is the Internet connection required to use Petcube Play 2?
Yes, you must be connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz).
Is Petcube Play 2 easy to set up?
All Petcube devices, including Play 2, can be set up in minutes. Download Petcube App for iOS or Android and follow the on-screen instructions. In every box, you will also find a Quick Start guide, and we have customer service if you need help.
Where can I place Petcube Play 2?
Consider placing Petcube in a location that allows for maximum coverage through the camera's 160° wide-angle lens. It's always a good idea to point the Petcube in the direction where your pets tend to spend most of their time.
Can I set up multiple Petcube cameras for one account?
To register multiple cameras to one account, launch the Petcube app. Swipe left at the top of the 'Home' tab. Press the 'Tap to connect your device' icon. Select your Petcube camera from the list and follow the instructions.
How much is shipping?
