Emma-Lisa Steyn is a dedicated Animal Health Technician with a passion for pet health education. While she primarily works with domestic pets, she also has experience with large animals and does work with them whenever the opportunity presents itself. With a strong background in veterinary practice management, Emma-Lisa is committed to providing the best care for her patients. When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs, two cats, and family.

Professional Experience

An Animal Health Technician plays an essential role in supporting veterinarians and ensuring the well-being of animals within veterinary practices, clinics, or animal health services in Southern Africa. They assist with various procedures, treatments, and are involved in managing animal health records and client communications.

After volunteering at wildlife sanctuaries in South Africa, Emma-Lisa pursued her passion for animals by studying Animal Health while working in veterinary clinics. Eventually, she fulfilled her dream by purchasing a veterinary clinic in the surfing town of Jeffreys Bay with her business partner.

Pet Passion Points

Emma-Lisa enjoys supporting the veterinarians she works with, playing an active role in helping patients recover their health. She is passionate about pet nutrition, advocating for a well-balanced diet, disease prevention, and making a positive impact in her community whenever possible.
