Alexa commands give you more control
For the first time, using Alexa through a compatible device like Amazon Echo or Echo Dot, Petcube users have another way to control their pet cameras - with their voice - in addition to traditional access through the Petcube App. Use the easy to remember and simple to use voice commands through Alexa to fling treats to your pet with Petcube Bites 2 or play with your pet with Petcube Play 2.
Easy setup for voice control via the Petcube skill
Connecting your Petcube camera to Alexa devices is a simple process. It is a short, one-time setup: all you need to do is download and install the Petcube Skill for Alexa and then link your Petcube account through the Alexa app or your Amazon account.
There are no additional fees and you don’t need to make any changes to your Petcube camera or within the Petcube App.

Use Alexa to treat or play with your pet via Petcube Bites and Petcube Play. Here are all of the things you can ask Alexa to do!
Petcube Bites Alexa Skill Phrases:
- Alexa, ask Petcube to treat [your pet’s name]
- Alexa, ask Petcube to treat my pet
- Alexa, ask Petube to fling treats
Note: After You say an Alexa Skill phrase (above), Alexa will respond with a phrase like "Here you go!", "Yummy!", etc.
Petcube Play Alexa Skill Phrases:
- Alexa, ask Petcube to play with my pet
- Alexa, ask Petcube to play with [your pet’s name]
- Alexa, ask Petcube to play for [5] minutes
Note: After you say an Alexa skill phrase (above), Alexa will respond with a phrase like “Play time!”
The Alexa skill will work with all Petcube devices. Contact Petcube Customer Support if you need any assistance; a firmware update might be necessary.
