Product Researcher

Petcube, Inc. is a leading technology company that keeps people connected with their pets. It has emerged as a technology leader, claiming a new category of Connected Pet that’s defined at the intersection of Connected Home and Pet Care.

We are looking to hire a passionate Product Researcher to join our product team, which is making technology indistinguishable from magic by connecting pets to the internet and giving them a voice.

Responsibilities

• Focus both on Hardware & Software products, including existing products like Petcube Mobile Apps, subscription services, and web experience, as well as some unannounced products.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative studies, including user interviews, surveys, usability research, user session reviews, and Sensor Tower reports.
• Monitor the overall pet market and competition performance.
• Emerging products and categories research.
• Collect, organize, and document the research outputs into the research Knowledge Base.
• Interpret collected data and identify patterns.
• Present the research outputs to the product and executive teams.
• Collaborate with the product & design team on research matters.

Requirements

• 2+ years in Product research or product management.
• Proven skills in running effective market research that led to impactful business results.
• Practical knowledge of competitive intelligence tools and methodologies.
• Customer development and user interview hands-on experience.
• Strong presentation skills, and ability to process and effectively structure the research outputs.
• Understanding of key product and business metrics.
• A data-driven mindset and sense of product ownership.
• Knowledge of product experimentation and AB test approaches.
• Basic skills in wireframing / UX flow design.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• C1+ English.

Would be a plus: hardware and IoT products research experience.
